While the strength and beauty of dental restoration materials continue to advance, the skill of the practitioner makes all the difference. Dr. Noreen Goldwire is trained in the latest techniques to bring even the most damaged teeth back to full health.

When are crowns needed?

Sometimes teeth are damaged because of cavities, heavy bite forces, or injury. If a root canal is needed to salvage a compromised nerve, the tooth may be especially fragile. Dental crowns allow these teeth to be rebuilt and covered with materials that mimic natural teeth. Not only are most teeth with crowns are indistinguishable from natural teeth, but they're also extremely secure and comfortable.

Crowns can repair a single tooth, multiple teeth, or work with dental implants to fill a space. Missing teeth may warrant a different treatment such as a dental bridge or implants.
